FLU VACCINATIONS 2020/2021
We will be inviting all of our eligible patients for their flu vaccines this year by letter, the letter will clarify and explain which clinics you can book into and how to book this. IMPORTANT – The letter contains a slip which must be brought with you to your flu appointment.
We are also offering a walk in service for eligible patients and we will be offering separate clinics for children and those patients that were shielded during lockdown, all this information will be included in the letter you receive.
Letters will be sent to during the early September so please do wait to receive yours before contacting us.
Please note that, if you are aged between 50 and 64 and not in a clinical at risk group, the earliest you will be offered a flu vaccination is November, providing there is sufficient vaccines. No appointments will be offered for people in this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are aged 50 to 64 and are in a clinical ‘at risk’ group which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier as per the above.
